The Denman Island Palestine Solidarity Group will be hosting a screening of “The Voice of Hind Rajab” on Sunday, May 24th at 2p.m. at the Denman Community Hall. This Academy Award nominated film tells of the last hours in the life of 5 -year -old Hind Rajab and her extended family as they try to evacuate from Gaza during the ongoing genocide. The film is a docu-drama that uses audio from the 911 calls between Hind and members of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society trying to rescue her. For those wishing to debrief there will be a sharing circle after with light refreshments. This film is not suitable for children.
