My article last week, “Informing Institutions”, caused some concern due to an unverified statement about Chickadee Lake. I do not frequent Facebook but I was shown comments which moved me to give some context for the record.
I submitted my article before verifying the statement in question in order to meet the deadline. The correction I later sent was received, confirmed and implemented online but alas, not in print. I appreciate your care and attention in addressing this mistake and I apologise for my own part.
