Alan and I have always known what a kind, caring and generous community we live in and it was proven last week when we lost Eric to a horrible fire. At 3a.m. 22 fire fighters showed up to fight it and an ambulance crew. We watched in horror as they efficiently put it out. Our heartfelt thanks go to Rob and the crew.
As we grappled with the horror, a friend asked us if he could coordinate the site clean up and we gladly said yes. The next day it was done and heartfelt thanks go to Dorian and Dave for their prompt response and expertise. Another dear friend organized a meal chain and again the community responded. Thanks go to everyone who showed their generosity and caring with delicious food.
We are recovering from the traumatic event and will be organizing a celebration of our dear friend,s life sometime soon.
Denman is a wonderful place to live!
