Andrea Davis; August 13, 1948 – November 17, 2021
Andrea left this world gently and peacefully earlier this morning in her beautiful “room with a view” of the ocean and Taystayic at The Views in K’omoks
Andrea came to love her life (and the entire staff) at the Views, and she endeared herself to everyone there with her stories, kindness, helpfulness, and great sense of humour.
Andrea’s instructions were that she be cremated, some of her ashes be kept on Taystayic in designated spots, Andrea’s remaining ashes are to go to her niece, Anna.
Andrea’s expressed wish was that people remember her from their time with her, and, that in lieu of a community celebration of life, people share and reach out to each other, in an effort to continue to develop a better understanding, and more empathetic view of emotional and mental health, and the issues that many people face in our own community.
