Letter: Doctors supporting Covid 19 Vaccination

Dear Editor, This letter is from many of the doctors on Denman and Hornby Islands. We want to make it clear that we support the work of the Centres for Disease Control and BC’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Bonnie Henry. Some people distrust our Public Health agencies’ messaging about the safety and efficacy of the vaccines against Covid-19. We believe that the vaccines are safe and are all planning to get vaccinated when it is our turn.We also believe that the “herd immunity” that will occur when enough people are vaccinated is the best way for our society to return to normal.
