Choose to Move at Home

Are you 65+ and interested in moving more and staying connected while safe at home?

Keeping active and connected can be challenging during these extraordinary times. To help support you, we invite you to join Choose to Move at Home.

Choose to Move at Home is a new initiative from the Active Aging Society, the Active Aging Research Team at UBC, and their delivery partners such as HDCHCS to help older adults stay active and connected while at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Choose to Move at Home includes 6 virtual/phone group meetings and personalized support over the course of 3 months. In these meetings we will discuss ideas and strategies to help keep you physically active and socially connected while staying safe at home.

This FREE and flexible program will help you get the motivation you need to become and stay active! With your Activity Coach, you’ll develop a personal action plan to help meet your goals by choosing activities you like! Learn new ways to live a healthier, more active life with 1:1 coaching, group support, and more.
